People age 12 and older can receive a vaccine with or without an appointment.

Kim Wilson Housing COVID-19 Response & Recovery Funds
Kim Wilson Housing is offering financial assistance with past due rent and past due utility bills to WYANDOTTE COUNTY, KANSAS RESIDENTS ONLY who meet the qualifications described below:
Low-income households (At or below 50% of Area Median Income)
Households who have lost their job(s) due to COVID-19
Households already fully or partially unemployed prior to March 1, 2020
Households who made a rent/utility payment between January 1, 2020 – March 31, 2020
Households with members who have health complications and/or financial hardship due to medical bills
Households at imminent risk of losing their housing who do not have sufficient resources or support necessary to maintain their housing
We require the following documentation in order to help you. Note that we may ask for other documentation based on your situation:
Valid Picture ID
Social Security Card (or birth certificate) for you and for every member of the household
Proof of Income (e.g. award letter, recent pay stubs, Social Security benefits, etc.)
Copy of the Lease/Rental Application and/or supporting documents
Proof of Current Address (e.g. lease/rental agreement, property deed, utility bill, etc.)
A submitted application is not a guarantee of financial assistance. Our staff will contact you once your application has been reviewed. **Approval subject to availability and funding.

BPU Hardship Assistance Program - United Way of Wyandotte County:
Utilities, rent or mortgage assistance. Call for appointment. No walk-ins accepted.

To qualify for this service: You must have received at least six months of continuous BPU service. You must provide proof of income (or lack of income). You must provide verification of other expenses that prevent you from making your BPU payment. You must verify that you are the resident of the address listed on your BPU bill.
The Kansas Low-Income Energy Assistance (LIEAP) Program
In order to qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements:
An adult living at the address must be personally responsible for paying the heating costs incurred at the current residence, payable either to the landlord or the fuel vendor.
Applicants must demonstrate a recent history of payments toward purchase of the primary heating energy.
The 2021 LIEAP application period is from Monday, January 4, 2021, through Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Applications must be received prior to 5:00 PM, March 31, 2021.
The combined gross income (before deductions) of all persons living at the address may not exceed 130% of the federal poverty level according to the guidelines listed on the application page here.
