Groundwork Northeast Revitalization Group is excited to announce that we are the recipients of a $250,000 grant from the Kansas Health Foundation! The grant funds will be disbursed over three years, and will support:

  • A WiFi hotspot and technology library, which will provide a resource for Northeast residents who lack an in-home broadband connection and help build new technology skills.

  • Stipends for members of a Digital Equity Taskforce composed of Northeast residents, who will engage in co-learning and advocacy around issues relating to digital access in the Northeast.

  • A Digital Equity Coordinator, who will manage the programs associated with the grant, and help actualize the policy priorities and outreach strategies identified by the taskforce.

KHF awarded similar amounts of funding to three other grantees in the region, who will each develop their plans to build local and regional collaboration around digital equity and inclusion. Groundwork NRG looks forward to a fruitful working relationship with the other grantees in the years ahead!

The Kansas Health Foundation is a philanthropy dedicated to improving the health of all Kansans. For more information about the Kansas Health Foundation, visit www.kansashealth.org.
