Green Team Member
Oliver Faulkner is a member of the 2023 class at Sumner Academy of Arts & Science in the Douglass-Sumner neighborhood. They joined Green Team in the spring of 2021 due to their love of nature and their desire to improve their community. During their time with the Green Team they have participated in numerous projects such as tree planting and watering, rehabilitating vacant lots, water testing, improving Parkwood Park’s stream, recognizing and removing invasive plant species, planting native plants, and reconnecting with the Douglass-Sumner community. With the skills learned through their time with Green Team, they intend to improve their community.
